Genoa, 2 August 2023 – Riccardo Iovino, CEO of EdiliziAcrobatica S.p.A. (“Company” or “ACROBATICA”), met today with the Board of Directors to present the data relating to the Company’s H1 2023 national and international revenues, not subjected to statutory audit. Consolidated revenues as at 30 June 2023 amounted to €78.6 million, an increase of 5.7% compared to the same period of the previous year, when they amounted to €74.4 million.

Specifically, in Italy H1 revenues amounted to €57.7 million, a slight drop (-17.7%) compared to the €70.1 million of the same period of the previous year, which benefited from State incentives; however, we also underline an excellent performance given by the +50% of the number of contracts signed compared to the same period of the previous year.

Energy, the group company that competes in the energy efficiency sector, also performed well, recording revenues of €15.8 million, up sharply from €1.4 million as at 30 June 2022. The benefit of diversifying investments and internationalising the brand is also evident from the positive performance of the foreign companies.

International expansion via acquisition of a majority stake in Enigma Capital Investments LLC based in the United Arab Emirates and active in the rope access construction sector was another source of highly encouraging results, posting €2.1 million considering only the post-acquisition revenues (April-June). In the entire first half of 2023, the revenues produced were over 4 million and the prospects for the second half are equally promising.

In Italy, direct operating offices reached 93 as at 30 June 2023, up by 13 compared to 80 as at 30 June 2022.

Riccardo Iovino, CEO & Founder of EdiliziAcrobatica, commented that “I am particularly satisfied with the results of the first half of the year, because net of the normal contraction of revenues in Italy resulting from the limitation of credit transfer instruments, the group still saw clear growth compared to the same period of 2022. Furthermore, a part of this growth is certainly attributable to the international expansion and diversification of our business in recent years, which once again confirms the solidity of our business model”.

As for the French subsidiary EdiliziAcrobatica France Sas, note that revenues generated in H1 2023 amounted to approximately €2.2 million, slightly down (-8.3%) compared to the same period of the previous year when they stood at €2.4 million.

As for the Spanish EA Iberica, revenues totalled €0.64 million, an increase of 52.4% compared to €0.42 million in the first half of the previous year.

Note also that the parent company EdiliziAcrobatica S.p.A. reached a total of 1,437 employees as at 30 June 2023 compared to 1,154 on 30 June 2022. Considering also the French subsidiary EdiliziAcrobatica France Sas, the Spanish subsidiary EdiliziAcrobatica Iberica, EdiliziAcrobatica Monaco and EdiliziAcrobatica Dubai, Saudi Arabia and Nepal, as well as the subsidiary Energy and the franchises, the Group reached a total workforce of 2,294 employees.

Finally, in the first six months of 2023 the company inaugurated eight new Acrobatic stores throughout Italy, from north to south, specifically in Cosenza, Brindisi, Pomezia, Marina di Carrara, Cremona, Seregno, Desenzano del Garda and Udine.
