(“the Company” or “EDAC”), the Italian company specializing in building construction, like maintenance and construction works of buildings and other architectural structures using the double safety rope technique, listed on the AIM Italia segment of the Italian Stock Exchange (ticker EDAC) and on Euronext Growth (ticker ALEAC) reported that the Board of Directors, which convened today, have decided to co-opt Paolo Ravà and to appoint him as new Independent Director to replace Andrea Bottino, who stepped down from his role for personal reasons. Bottino submitted his resignation letter on 16 December 2019. The Board of Directors acknowledged Bottino’s resignation and they would like to thank him for his valuable contribution to the company.
Paolo Ravà, who has been officially appointed as new Independent Director of the Board of Directors of EDAC, is a a skilled professional with extensive experience in consultancy services in both Italian and foreign companies. Since 2017 he has also been serving as President of the Certified Public Accountants of Genoa.
The Board of Directors, following the positive opinion of the Board of Statutory Auditors, ascertained that Paolo Ravà meets the independence requirements and confirmed his status as independent Director in light of the powers and role assigned to him.
Shareholders who might want to consult the full version of Paolo Ravà’s resume can contact the Company Head Office. In compliance with article 2386 of the Civil Code and with the current law, the new Director will hold office until the next meeting is convened. Based on the communications made to the Company, Ravà does not own any share of the Company right now.
