SAFETY LIFELINES

EdiliziAcrobatica® is a company specialized in lifeline systems and offers its customers a complete service, from the project to the maintenance, ensuring them the highest quality standards.

A lifeline system is a device that allows rope operators to safely hook to a series of anchors, placed on the roof. Operators are fixed through harnesses and personal protection devices. Anchorage prevents from  falling and, at the same time, it allows maximum freedom of movement, that is the reason why lifelines are generally employed in maintenance and control interventions.

After hooking the double safety rope to the protection lines, EdiliziAcrobatica® operators can perform any type of maintenance, renovation, installation and cleaning, on every external surface of a building, without having to install scaffolds or aerial platforms.

HOW WE CARRY OUT THE INTERVENTION

EdiliziAcrobatica® projects, installs and overhauls anti-falling lifeline systems, which guarantee maximum safety on the building site and eliminate scaffolds. We are official installers for the Harken Access Rail System and employ a completely new and extremely safe lifeline protection. The Harken Access Rail System tracking project, certified EN 795: 2012 class D + CEN / TS 16415, has the main advantage to be suitable to any placing: on the ground, on the wall, on the ceiling, and of course on all possible intermediate configurations.

The device is essentially composed of an anodised aluminum track, together with connectors, terminals and one or more trolleys that vary in type and number, depending on the function of the system (anti-fall or suspension). Safe and adaptable to any kind of intervention, the system allows acrobatic operators to work at height or to anchor when necessary.

  • Our anti-falling service provides:
  • the planning of the lifeline system
  • the assembling on the roof
  • the necessary certifications
  • the user manual
  • the audit report with the check of the anchor points
  • the maintenance planning

Our lifeline system can be employed both on civil or industrial buildings, for maintenance works or periodical checks, it works in case of installation and cleaning of gutters and aerials, chimney flues, photovoltaic and solar systems, building walls, glass walls and for every kind of intervention at height.

THE ADVANTAGES OF ROPE ACCESS IN LIFELINE SYSTEM INSTALLATION

  • Maximum safety: we employ the Harken Access Rail System antifalling lifelines, certified by EN795:2012, one of the best system to guarantee safety when working at height. We also obtained the  BS OHSAS 18001:2007 certification.
  • Qualified operators: our acrobatic technicians are highly specialized in double safety rope access and provided with personal protection devices (DPI).
  • No scaffolds: operators are anchored to lifeline systems through static and certified ropes that allow to perform any kind of external intervention to a building without having to install expensive scaffolds, thus avoiding additional expenses , inconveniences and waste of time.
  • A solution that is suitable for any use: any technician, who will have later to operate on the roof, will find an already tested system to work at height in safety.
