I had recently finished a traineeship to become qualified as a surveyor, and as I was wondering what I was going to do later, I sent my CV to EdiliziAcrobatica. I was young, and other than that experience, and the year after leaving school when I managed the betting corner in my friend’s bar, I didn’t have much else to add. But, to my great surprise, I passed all the selection interviews and was hired as a commercial manager in the Turin area. It was an area made up of just one team of rope-access operators and it needed to grow. My colleague Andrea and I faced up to the challenge that the company gave us, and in just a few months and with a lot of enthusiasm, we managed to gain so many clients that we were “forced” to split the area in two, and so the “Turin 2” area was born.
Thanks to the training that the company allowed me to do every month, my growth within EdiliziAcrobatica has been non-stop since then. I brought in results and inevitably, they got me noticed. In a few years, I moved from my initial role to the role of Commercial Director in Italy. Today, my job is to support and help EdiliziAcrobatica’s area managers to achieve the objectives that we set at the start of each year and to succeed personally and professionally. A bit like Riccardo and Anna did with me. My future is full of big plans, but I can’t get there alone, I have to do it as part of a team.
