My name is Benedetta, I’m an architect and I consider myself very lucky. Two months after I graduated in Rome, I found my first job in a planning and design studio in central Genoa. After another job in another architecture studio, my life with EdiliziAcrobatica began. My goal was always to find a job that didn’t feel like work, something I was passionate about in an environment that would feel like home and with people who would become my family. In 2014, when I came across EdiliziAcrobatica, I realised that I’d achieved that aim.
I first started as a technical manager, and thanks to the support from my colleagues and the monthly training that I was lucky enough to undertake, I was offered the opportunity to grow both professionally and as a person, reviving my commitment to my goals that have now brought me one step closer to the role of Security Manager on the work sites, which fills me with pride and joy.
In the meantime, I also met Freddy, the love of my life, at EdiliziAcrobatica, and soon after became a mum to Emilia, our little girl. So yes, I consider myself lucky because despite everything you read about discrimination against women in the workplace, here at EdiliziAcrobatica being a mother has never been seen as an obstacle to my career. If anything, it’s a new, exciting aspect of my life as a woman, a mother and a professional.
