[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]In the year of the pandemic, despite the restrictions that halted production last spring, and notwithstanding a recession in the construction sector that has persisted for years, EdiliziAcrobatica has reached and indeed has exceeded the milestone of 1,000 employees, having hired more than 250 in 2020 alone.

It is an extraordinary achievement, not so much for the number itself, as in recent years EdiliziAcrobatica has experienced a growth and expansion at a European level that requires the constant hiring of new personnel, but for the fact that the target of 1,000 Acrobats was reached at a difficult historical moment for the global production system.

“We are particularly proud of this achievement”, comments Riccardo Iovino, CEO and founder of EdiliziAcrobatica S.p.A., “because it’s the result of our absolute determination never to surrender, even in the face of the difficulties that seem most difficult to overcome. When the government forced the closure of construction sites last spring as a measure to contain the Covid-19 pandemic, we were not discouraged. To the contrary, in order not to leave any of our people at home we created a new branch of the company specialised in cleaning and disinfection. We did everything in record time: from finding materials to identifying Ateco industry codes, we worked day and night to be operational in the shortest possible time in order to get into a new production segment that met the needs of our customers. We never stopped, even when construction was halted. We simply broadened our gaze to embrace a wider horizon”.

After all, the fact that Iovino – and a few years later together with him his partner Anna Marras – had a different way of viewing reality can be seen from the exponential growth that took the company from just under ten offices in 2015 to the current 94 areas (in Italy and France), to a double listing on the stock market (AIM Segment of Borsa Italiana and Euronext Growth), the first company in the sector to complete this undertaking in just a few months. All without ever losing sight of its beating heart, that which drove and supported its growth every single day: “Our people, our acrobats”, explains Anna Marras, director in charge of Human Resources, “are invaluable for us. They are our most precious treasure. A treasure that we care for and help to grow, encouraging everyone to embark on a path of improvement that is first and foremost personal. We believe in the human potential of each individual, and our first objective is to ensure that each of our employees and contractors is placed in the best possible conditions, where they can truly fulfil their missions”.

“EdiliziAcrobatica is truly a family”, notes Marras, “where everyone is committed to helping others, where the victory of one is a victory for all, and where sharing is an everyday part of the work. And I believe that this is one of the reasons why EdiliziAcrobatica was rated as one of the best Italian companies to work for, as found in a survey of over 2,000 large companies conducted by the German Institute of Quality and Finance. Because our company grows in proportion to the happiness of our people”.[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=”22px”][vc_column_text]Download: EDAC HR 2020 EN[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=”22px”][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1/2″][vc_column_text]Deborah Dirani
